This week, We took a flight to Busan, South Korea and visited Korean Air Aerospace tech center to see how they paint a Korean Air B747-8. Korean Air is the only airline that manufactures Boeing and Airbus parts. We discover behind the scenes how the B787 wingtip, tail cone, flap support fairing and A320 sharklet are made there.
Next, We visited Korean Air cargo at Incheon. Korean Air has a huge cargo operation that shines during COVID. We got onboard a B777-300/ER Passenger Freighter “Preighter” to discover the unique cargo operation.
Last, We visited the Korean Air catering center to see how they prepare airplane food. We was shown the popular traditional Korean Bibimbap and Mukbap dish.
